Sam Caruana

Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Sam is a Brisbane-based producer, director, performer and teacher. Sam completed three years of musical theatre training before launching into the arts industry. As co-creative director of BG Performing Arts, he has produced and directed productions of GREASE, SEUSSICAL JR. & THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL. Sam has toured nationally as a dance captain, assistant directed ALADDIN JR and assistant choreographed FOOTLOOSE. Most recent credits include ensemble and Musidorus cover in HEAD OVER HEELS & featured vocalist in A NIGHT AT THE MUSICALS. His notable performance credits include Ren McCormack in FOOTLOOSE, Emmett Forrest in LEGALLY BLONDE, Billy Flynn in CHICAGO, Oscar Lindquist in SWEET CHARITY, Prince Herbert & Not Dead Fred in SPAMALOT, Rapunzel’s Prince in INTO THE WOODS and Cowboy Bob in FOOTLOOSE.
